Every year I do an annual recap and this year I thought it would be fun to do one through video.  2015 started off great, and some great things happened.  We visited Vegas and Italy, we skied a lot and rented a cottage in the Summer with 20 friends.  We celebrated our good friends who got married, welcomed two new nephews (my best friend & sister both had their second babies) and ate some great food.

However, there were some very sad times, as we lost Marco's Dad suddenly which was tremendously devastating and had to say goodbye to our family dog, Peanut.

I'm going to let the video and happier moments do the 'talking' and as always, thanks for watching!

You ladies know I'm a sucker for a good high-top and mostly wear those for the gym.  I used to really love trainers, but since I'm not running on a treadmill, flat footed shoes are great for lifting weights.  So with that, today I'm sharing a few favourites that are currently available online that I'm oogling.

I always love a fresh white shoe, but the grey denim Supra Skytops in the first row are really doing it for me.  I already own that style and they are a great way to ease into a high-top shoe.

The woven black ones are super cute, I like the colour of the Pumas, and while the Air Max isn't something I would normally gravitate towards, I'm feeling the speckled print on them.

I already own the Supra Society kicks in grey and they are totally badass (but definitely a little futuristic--Marco always jokes I'm wearing my Marty McFly shoes).  I'm really feeling the perforated shoes, it adds a little something extra and the last black pair of Creative Recreations would be on my wish list if I didn't already have a similar pair.

I am always intrigued by relationships and how people make them work with each others' quirks (you know you have them!).  I love hearing how couples met and what they love most about each other, but I equally love hearing about what keeps them together.

So with that, I canvassed friends and family to get their opinions and advice on what it takes to make a relationship last....

Happy Thursday!  I know this is weird having the Friday Finds on a Thursday, but I have a really fun post for tomorrow that isn't quite done--but will be for tomorrow.

How's your week been?  I'm definitely ready for the weekend--but am excited to be heading out to dinner with a girlfriend tonight.  On Saturday, we are finally celebrating Christmas with my sister and her little family and then having a birthday celebration for my Grammy.  Hope you are well! xo

What a fun, sparkly NYE party (would be awesome for a birthday!).

Next on the shoe wish list.

11 powerful graphics that will make you realize how incredibly short life is.

Cast iron chocolate chip cookies.  #nom

I love everything about this.

Man-approved brussel sprouts.  Sort of.

What a cool chair.

The next newsletter goes out tomorrow morning--like super early--with my go-to secret on how I pair my bracelets.  It's free and you can sign up here, if you'd like.
