Denim vests are ha-uge for this Spring / Summer and I was a little weery about two months ago but now I'm kind of obsessed.

I picked up the bottom right vest last week and decided to return the one I had initially purchased (you can see it in my Hottest Spring Trends vlog HERE).  Now I'm on the hunt for another one despite not even wearing mine yet!

I love the idea of pairing this over a sweet sundress with gladiator sandals or go totally Coachelle/music-festival inspired with booties.  I think it'd be sweet with black pants and a skimpy tank underneath too.  I love it so much I think I'm going to order the red one from F21 for a coloured take on this trend.  (I also really love the one from Delia's with the off-set zipper and great wash; so feminine, which I gravitate towards).

Denim vest:  will you rock it?

For my thirteenth video as the Place d'Orleans Fashion Vlogger, I'm sharing the hottest trends for Spring 2013!

They are:
* Floral
* Pastels
* Chambray
* Black & white

And exciting news!  This was set to be my last video for my contract with the mall but they have asked me if I would stay on and continue as the Vlogger for the mall and I could not be more excited!  I have learned so much with this experience and my videos and editing are getting better and better.  Additionally, we have some fun things coming up soon which I will, of course, be sharing here.

Stay tuned for more (specifically on the Place d'Orleans FB page).

Giambattista Valli | Reek Krakoff | Dion
Akris | Rochas |  Rick Owens

I thougtht I would share some Spring 2013 trends despite that you have probably seen them elsewhere and I'm a little bit late, but always good for inspiration and simply a few of my favourite looks.

I love the idea of sheer for Spring, especially panelling.  Makes me think of my recently DIY'ed maxi skirt in white, with it's sheer and opaque horizontal stripes.  I love the Rochas sheer flowing white skirt above but don't think I'd be daring enough to pull of a full sheer skirt (where do you wear something like that, anyways?).  Although something about each one catches my eye, my fave is definitely Dion's white and orange dress; simply stunning.
