I found the most amazing boots from Aldo that I have begged husband to buy me (for Christmas).  These are not them.  These are my second place pair.  The ones I reeeeeally want are a tad more expensive (and up until about two seconds ago when I checked, they were sold out in my size - but are now back in stock, I'm having a small heart attack right now!).  I've dropped every hint in the book to husband about them, and by hint, I mean blatantly telling him how badly I want them, every other second and showing him numerous pictures.  I don't think I'm going to get them, I just have a feeling.  In other  shoe news, I totally impulse purchased these on Monday.  Such a great price now and I need a new commute boot (aka what I like to call the boot I wear to and from work while I carry my four inch heels in a pretty little bag... or simply in my hands).  Bonus, they are over the knee which is fantastic since I live in skirts even when it's 30 below and the knee-high commute boots I've been rockin' the past two years just are cutting it, as far as keeping the space between my skirt and top of my boots, warm.

Some of you may remember these wedges from my covet post a few months ago.  Well guess what?  They are officially mine!  I'm on the Aldo mailing list and received a special promo code for one day only, for items on clearance only.  I quickly skimmed the Aldo site to find my beloved wedges 50% off, plus with the promo code I got an additional 25% off!  Eep!  They were delivered the next day (now how's that for good service?  And I chose the standard shipping...) and I've barely removed them from my feet all weekend.  A match made in heaven!

I remembered seeing these Jeffrey Campbell wedges months ago when I spied these look-alikes from Aldo that they just recently released.  If you can't swallow the price point, you can get an even less expensive version from Urban Original.

My mom and I hit up Aldo today to look for a clutch for her for the wedding.  While there I found these, the 'Gersten' wedge.  I died.  I grabbed them so quick and held on tight, look at my mom and gave the look of, 'Omigod-these-are-amazing-and-I-need-them-NOW'.  She then gave me the look, no, actually she said, 'Yeah, to go with your other 170 pairs of shoes...' while rolling her eyes.  Sadly, I left empty handed.

Boo hoo.

I think I speak for many women at the moment when I say I'm still really loving the galdiator shoe trend.  Gladiator flats are so easy to slip into, whether it's a day of perusing the mall or lunch with the girls, they just work.  This year the focus is really on cuffs, and ankle embellishment.  I came across this beautiful Kelsi Dagger gladiators, but for those looking for a less expensive version, head over to Aldo for something super similar.

The peep-toe bootie trend is still going strong and you no long need to empty your wallet to get on this band wagon. Aldo's Haga booties are great, but at $140, you'll want to get your wear out of them. However, if you're looking for something similar without the similar price tag, check out Urban Original's Qupid Gaze booties and poof! Stylish on a budget.

Did I just die and go to heaven?! I found these Toureson booties from Aldo
just now and I'm in looove.  A hidden wedge in an ankle boot - does it get any
better than this?  It also reminds me of these sick boots that Fashion is Poison
blogged about.  They still have my size and they are on sale for half price!
Too good to be true?!

Ooh la la.  I first laid eyes on these Fawson shoes from Aldo months ago, and now they've come out with a similar peep-toe version called the, Eggenburg

Love them both.
